After serving as a law clerk in 1987 to the Honorable Harry L. Hupp, United States District Court for the Central District of California, Leora Freedman initially focused her legal practice on bankruptcy-related litigation. Leora now specializes in representing policyholders in resolving insurance coverage disputes, both in and out of court.

Over the past twelve years, Leora has also acted as a private and court-appointed mediator in a variety of fields, including real estate (buyer/seller disputes, property damage, landlord/tenant and neighbor disputes), commercial, insurance, entertainment, employment and malpractice disputes. Leora serves on the mediation panels of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District and the Los Angeles Superior Court. She also has been a training coach for the Appellate Mediation Training program of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District.

Spending much of her childhood in Switzerland, Leora speaks French and German. Out of the office, Leora spends time with her family, which includes two energetic dogs.
